Ancel is the historical French subsidiary of the German food group Dr. Oetker. Established in 1919 in Strasbourg, Ancel produced lever and sugar for ready-to-cook sweeties. In 1931, Ancel launched the powders manufacturing activity with the building of a factory in Strasbourg-Meinau.
This commercial booklet illustrated by a view on the Strasbourg cathedral was printed in 1933 and proposed a selection of recipes based on Ancel’s products.
